What a Night for the Almost 5 Year-Old!

Uncle Jason from Illinois surprised Joel with tickets and pit passes to the Monster Jam Truck Rally last night. All the boys went while we had a girl's night out. Jason is good friends with Tom Meents, Maximum Destruction driver. (If I sound well-versed in this sport/hobby, it's a complete fake! I do not follow it a bit! :0) Joel got the royal treatment, including a security escort to the front of lines, time with Tom and his truck, and autographs. They took some great pics of Grave Digger and other fan favorites, got to see a demolition derby, and just a had a spectacular time. (Andy had a blast too!) Joel was so tuckered out when we got home, but you could tell he had just had the time of his little life! Thanks Uncle Jason...

Return to Normal

All is well again at the Walton house. Hives are gone, flu bug has been defeated (for now), and we've all gotten back to our normal routine. (Which means Hanna and Joel scrapping around the house and Hanna wearing anything BUT her own clothes!)

Little Spotted One

Hanna has hives. She follows in her brother's footsteps on everything else, why not the allergic reaction to amoxicillin too? Looks horrible, but good thing it hasn't slowed her down! She's almost exactly the same age Joel was when he reacted to it. Hives......hate 'em...

A New 'Scrappin' Direction

I did it! I made my first "altered paint can". My parents gave me some cans and tons of scrapbooking supplies for Xmas and I tried one out as a b-day gift container for my 1 year-old niece, Rylee. Her daddy's anthem to her (ALL the time!) is the "Ladybug Picnic" from Sesame Street, so the theme was obvious! I may try some more! :0)

Merry Christmas from the Waltons!

Happy Holidays to all from my "little preschool inkeeper" and from all of us in the Walton clan! (He said his lines clearly and loudly...enough to make any music teacher mom proud!)

*Please be kind enough to ignore the "laser eyes!

We've Been "Elfed"!

My friend Jaime sent me this hilarious link and so we tried it (after many "loading-one moment please" messages). It's a hoot! Check out my family being "elfed"!
