Last weekend, we took a trip downtown to see a little bit of history at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on the circle. Lady Victory has recently been restored and strengthened...her first time down since she was first perched atop the monument in the 1800s. People were able to get up close and personal for about a week before they hoist her back up. Due to the high winds and icky weather this week, she didn't get put back yet, but I expect it to happen soon. It was kind of neat to see the details up close. Hanna was fair game for a picture, but Joel wasn't interested!
